Multi-Process Welding Applications

Whether it’s an application out in the field where a variety of material types and thicknesses must be joined or in a small shop where the welding job types change daily, multi-process welders can be a cost-effective way to complete a wide variety of welding tasks using a variety of processes. Multi-process welders put processes such as TIG, MIG, flux core and stick welding all into one box. One hour a multi purpose welder can be used to weld 20 gauge 308L stainless steel, and the next hour it can be used to stick weld one inch thick X70 pipe. This versatility makes multi-process welders extremely useful for those who perform many different types of welding projects.
